Rosa "Sai" Salangsang

Back in Fall 2022, I was one of the students who was assigned to make a web banner for Issue 31 of an online journal called "Switch". With the color scheme and text font I was given, I made two prototypes for the web banner. This draft mosiac-like style that was intended to loosely resemble pixel art. It is also a loose reference to mosiac murals on the Arch of Dignity, Equality, and Justice Monument that's located on the campus of San Jose State University. Neither of my drafts made the final cut, but I had a lot of fun making them. If I were to do anything different about both prototypes, I would adjust the kerning of the text and remove the glow effect from it.
