Rosa "Sai" Salangsang

This was my first time using Blender. I used free 3D models from the internet to make this creature. The cat and dog models are made by DeepDreamDimension at TurboSquid. The pumpkin model was made by Gürkan Aydın at Clara.io. At the time of creation, it was Halloween season. So naturally, everyone was making halloween themed artworks, including myself. I want to make another cryptid character, so using a classic halloween symbol, a jack o' lantern. I combined that with a dog and a few cats. I always like the idea of turning something cute into something creepy. Unlike another cryptid I created, Mr. Sketchyman, this cryptid is actually quite threatening. So, meet Jack: The Hivemind.

Jack is a group of creatures that take residence in old abandoned towns. They appear to be dogs or cats with a pumpkin for a head. They are something of a hivemind. Wherever one of them is, others may be close by. One group could consist of a few while another could consist of dozens. Studies show that the older the hivemind is, the more pumpkin headed cats or dogs there are in a group. Although they may seem harmless, they are actually quite dangerous. Be cautious if you decide to explore a ghost town. Those who are lucky enough to escape say that they witnessed their partners enter a sleep-like trance when they gazed upon the glow of their pumpkin heads. They are then lured towards Jack to be devoured and ripped apart. One witness stated that they toy with their victims before they eat them. Keep your wits sharp as well. They are cunning creatures and will try and trick you into looking at them. It is currently unknown how many of Jack there are, so they could practically be in any ghost town.
