Mochi
Programs Used: Clip Studio Paint, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
In this video, I’m trying to finish my final project for a class, but my
friend Mochi wanted to play. I tried to refuse, but then Mochi took my
pen and ran off with it! After chasing him around my neighborhood, it
turned out, he just wanted me to take a break from work. I’ll be honest,
I forget that my mental health is important sometimes. I hope you don’t
either.
I started out with making the Mochi graphics with Clip Studio Paint.
Then, I moved on to After Effects, where the majority of the process for
this video took place. Mochi’s movements were accomplished by using
keyframes and pre-compositions on the graphics I made in Clip Studio. My
textbox dialogue was made by keyframing shape layers and animated text
layers. I also created my title and ending graphics by keyframing text
layers as well. Finally, I made the audio on Audition, using my own
voice and a squeaky toy. Once all of my shots were edited and the audio
was made, everything was put together on Premiere Pro.
