Momoko and Tougan
Programs Used: Blender, Polycam, After Effects, and Premiere Pro
Momoko, the last axolotl, is frolicking outside their lake home when
they encounter someone big.
This video is a part of a series titled, "Stories of Friends Made",
where my four lonely characters are featured in four open-ended stories.
This story took the longest because I was relatively new animating in
Blender. Because keyframes are involved, I quickly developed a workflow
that's somewhat similar to the one I developed for After Effects. The
hardest part was rigging the models, especially Momoko. While most of
the models were handmade in Blender, some of them were photogrammetry
models that I made with PolyCam. It took a lot of patience, but I
eventually rendered four Blender animations and editted them in After
Effects.
