Rosa "Sai" Salangsang

This piece was made from a photo that didn't make the final cut of a project for a photography class. I have a lot of photos that I didn't include in my photography projects and I want to make them into digital art pieces rather than have them simply sit in my external hard drive. In this particular photo, I had my boyfriend wear his samurai armor (fun fact: it is actual armor) and stand near a cliff at a hiking trail, as if he's observing the land he's patrolling. This photo didn't make the final cut because I felt that there should be a little more emphasis in the landscape, and this photo didn't quite fit the criteria. I then experimented with audio effects in Audacity until I got the blue color I wanted for the glitches. The reason why I wanted the glitches to be blue is because blue is my boyfriend's favorite color.
